Buyer Arranged Export
If you arrange your own freight forwarder or export agent, CarBike Japan export arrangement fee does not apply.
Purchase Reserve
Purchase Reserve is required before bidding and is applied toward the approved maximum bid, estimated auction fees, CarBike Japan fee, route-specific handling costs if applicable, and buffer.
Payment must be received by 15:00 JST on the business day before the auction.
Funds must be received, not merely sent. If payment is not confirmed by the deadline, no bid will be placed.
Cancellation Policy
After a successful bid, cancellation is not accepted as a general rule. The buyer is responsible for the approved purchase.
If the buyer fails to proceed after a successful bid, the Purchase Reserve may be applied to auction fees, cancellation penalties, resale losses, storage fees, administrative costs, bank fees, and other actual costs.
Actual Costs
Auction fees, vehicle price, route-specific handling costs, inland transport, export, storage, shipping, insurance, bank fees, and destination-side taxes or registration costs are quoted separately at actual cost.
