Cancellation Policy

Important Summary
Before bidding, cancellation may be possible subject to actual costs.
After Bid Approval and bid placement, cancellation is not accepted as a general rule.
After a successful bid, cancellation is not accepted as a general rule.
If the buyer fails to proceed after a successful bid, the Purchase Reserve may be applied to fees, penalties, losses, and actual costs.
1. Before Bid Approval
Before Bid Approval and before any bid is placed, cancellation may be possible. However, the customer may still be responsible for actual costs already incurred, including research, inspection, communication, documentation, administrative work, or other related costs.
2. After Bid Approval
After the customer approves the bid conditions and CarBike Japan proceeds with bidding preparation or bid placement, cancellation is not accepted as a general rule.
3. After Successful Bid
After a successful bid, cancellation is not accepted as a general rule. The customer may be responsible for the winning bid, auction fees, penalties, inland transport, storage, documentation, export preparation, exchange-related costs, and other actual costs.
4. Purchase Reserve
If the customer fails to proceed after a successful bid, the Purchase Reserve may be applied to actual costs, penalties, losses, auction-related fees, and other obligations arising from the bid.
5. No Guarantee of Cancellation Acceptance
Cancellation requests are reviewed based on timing, auction status, bid status, vendor rules, export status, and actual costs already incurred. CarBike Japan does not guarantee that cancellation can be accepted after bid approval or successful bidding.
